I’m not sure I agree with that, it was very much the direction of travel at that stage. Freedom of movement had very much been ruled out way before the 2019 general election which meant we were leaving the single market.

How so? Reading between the lines it was pretty clear.
Now I didn't read the Cons oven ready deal list of they were still promising cu and sm access.
While acting completely against it with their demands and all the voting against May...then they have lied in their manifesto.

Anybody in Kent that voted conservatives in 2019 knowing full well the plan was to leave the customs union and single market really didn't think it through. Actions have consequences.
But I'm not sure the placement of said lorry parks with no consultation in the area is particularly ok. Cos fair processes are for all of us not just remainers.
