Oh absolutely. But if it has to go somewhere, it’s probably best for it to be in the back gardens of people who in all likelihood voted for it.

And although I live in Kent, logistically it should be as close to the main relevant transit hubs as possible.

Not with Compulsory Purchase. They will be given market value, if they're lucky.
