I'd rather avoid concreting over large areas of countryside at all regardless of how people voted, and if it has to be done at least go through planning and consultation.

Oh absolutely. But if it has to go somewhere, it’s probably best for it to be in the back gardens of people who in all likelihood voted for it.

And although I live in Kent, logistically it should be as close to the main relevant transit hubs as possible.

Still. Bet the owners of that field basically named their price to the government.
