I see New Zealand greeted the New Year hours before us. See what happens with real leadership?

That high Street Kensington route was a really useful one - it's a shame it's gone, and a shame that the council didn't manage to find the bravery to stand firm, that this is the envisioned future of a less car reliant London.
There's a similar outcry where I live in Chiswick, and I imagine they'll remove the new cycle lanes here soon too.

Sky Sports doesn't work outside UK. I just tried and "You are outside the region".
Did it say "You won't be able to watch West Ham" on the ballot? Did it cock.

Back to the old tricks. You used to have to get a UK box and card and then make sure the phone line was plugged into a SIP adapter so it had a UK number. Now I assume the Ethernet port will need to be connected to a VPN.

Government taking the credit for stopping the tampon tax 5 years after voting to maintain it. They're stuck up fannies, and I cleaned up that joke:

How does he still have a job?
“It is now beyond doubt that Williamson is the worst education secretary for a generation. From March this government has continually failed our children and young people, at a huge cost to their futures. He must go.”

Was diverted around quite a few closed roads with a heavy police presence in Southwark earlier today. Just looked up what it was and seems quite intense https://www.standard.co.uk/news/crime/london-bridge-swat-police-b643179.html

This.
And the Tory PR machine is well-versed in timing its efforts to coincide with the election cycle. They will be thanking their lucky stars that Covid happened this end of the term - and I would suspect that if it had been at the other end, it would have influenced the leadership decisions also.

What the heck did he say to those cops that got him besieged by a swat team and arrested for affray and intent to commit criminal damage?

Good news for now:
Still, with an appeal looming this is going to drag on for some time yet, with Assange probably still held at Belmarsh.

That's definitely true normally but are people really going to forget 2020?
