That’s really nice. Health to wear it.

Thank you. I’m quite certain I won’t keep it though. Good thing it’s easy to move on...

Also wouldn't mind trying one of those on. Wondering how over the top they are.

It’s a very comfortable watch to wear, for a number of meanings of the word. And they seem to be worth more the longer you hold onto them...

Wonder if any of you could help point me in the direction of some replacement bracelet pins for my wife's watch. Over the years I have used up all the friction pins that I had spare from reducing the strap length and now need to source some, but have yet to track anything down apart from some dodgy bulk sets on eBay direct from China.
Existing pins measure 15.55mm wide x 0.78mm DIA with a centre bulge 4mm wide x 0.9mm DIA. Centre has slight groove in the middle of it that seems to locate within some sprung feature within the bracelet.
Thanks in advance!

I’d like a Sub. PM me when you want to move it on.

Four years after thinking I’d lost it, Found again today after looking for a still un-found set of Paul Canti brakes...doesn’t get more LFGSS than that.
Moved house since I’d lost it , found in a shoe box, looking for the brakes.

Mighty relief, was given to me from my step Dad from his uncle from a Saudi oil baron in ‘84. I had thought to tell him I’d lost it.
Now for them brakes 🤔

Does anyone know much about Mathey-Tissot?
Not sure what model this is.

after being slightly underwhelmed with the bb58 i tried on a few weeks ago, I saw this available with a 20% off code and went for it. really pleased with it for £720. the sweep isn't as smooth as my speedy reduced but didn't really expect it to be. nice and easy to set the time/date. rotation of bezel feels a bit cheap but not end of the world. overall finish is very nice though and the dial looks great in the brown/chocolate
.. still yearning for a milgauss but with a wedding to save for and likely house-upsizing in semi-near-future I don't really think it's the best way to spend £6k atm :-(

Good choice my dude. Fits great on your wrist.

Is anyone on here a jeweller (rings not watches)? If so could you point me in their direction via subtle PM? Thanks :)

Nicer than the BB58 IMO...
Can I ask where you got the code? I’m about to get an SPB143 and £720 stings a lot less than £1100...

Thought I’d treat myself to something new to mark a year of being teetotal. Not bad for ~£80

So here it is... I had the opportunity to buy it at a price I couldn’t resist. Also wanted to try one (that’s not really possible at the AD) and I don’t think these are for me. The BB58 wears much nicer. The bracelet though... so good.
