Heat is fantastic, gets even better with repeated viewing as you know the story and can focus in on the incidental detail, the amazing dialogue etc.
Manhunter is also great, going to sound all up myself, but remember all the blue/grey light washing across me when I saw it on a big screen, must be best part of 30 years ago but remains an indelible memory

I also did sit down thinking of watching heat last night but I've decided to wait until I have a new TV to really make it a treat!
