Has mozzarella got to come from Italy to be mozzarella, and then if it's grated here to go on a pizza it's technically still Italian cheese this way?
Mozzarella is made everywhere, it’s not geographically controlled. There’s quite a lot made in the UK already.
Ah yeah, i meant as an example of cheese - you'd want to preserve the origin of ingredients in food, so there is exceptions around it.
