I think that too. However, I usually need the time only as I know what date it is. To me, daily watch needs to bring a smile when I look at it and this Hamilton will hopefully do it. Also, I wanted something that it’s slim and can get knocked around a bit. The date versions of this watch don’t do it for me at all.
My GS 9F quartz is the perfect daily watch, but I’d ruin it within a month at work.
