  • Finally back to pace after mysterious overuse injury that not only meant no running in November, but proper limping and pain just laying down at night for a month. Really weird.

    It’s left a nice hard lump in the base/left side of my shin, too. Just above the ankle.

    Did a 44 min 10k and felt great with nice consistent splits. The cold was a good incentive to push hard to stay warm. Cycling gloves ftw.

    Also much prefer listening to podcasts than music. Helps getting lost in someone else’s conversation, especially if it’s about AI and aliens.

  • I used to come up with motivational playlists for running but now I don’t take anything just listen to my breathing and seem to get lost in that.
