  • I know this gets asked fairly often and apologies for repeating it, but does anyone have a recommendation for an app or programme to get into running?

    Also, I'm flat footed and have knee hyper extension. Has anyone else had any experience with these and running, and any advice on shoes or exercises to mitigate any pain/discomfort?

  • If you have specific requirements I’d be tempted to get a gait assessment to get your feet right. The staff at these places are normally pretty knowledgable or could refer you elsewhere if need be.

    My advice - take it steady, go slow and try and enjoy it.

  • That makes sense, I have a strange gait and when things normalise I'm hoping to get back into physio, which I had abandoned as a teenager. Slow and steady will be the name of the game.
