I am building a mountain bike up, do I need anti seize or grease in the frame for the headset? (Cups)
Frame is steel and headset is probably alu.
Also, same question (and materials) for seatpost and (external) bottom bracket cups.
If you are worried look up duralac but it is not really anti seize but a jointing compound or use a ceramic anti seize.
Grease if it moves
Antiseize if it doesn't
Thread lock if you don't ever want it to move or it's coming undone
