Are we doing general bathroom rules? If so, don't have your loo and shower located so that the showerhead could accidentally fall in the loo. If they're adjacent it can be prevented with a shower screen, just something to keep in mind. It's to prevent contamination of the drinking water supply, as unlikely as it seems.

The only thing I've heard (from one of the builders who quoted) is that you shouldn't have a bath under a wooden window.
I don't know if that's because of the steam from it or the splashes, but is that sensible or is that unnecessary caution?
