  • Honestly I wish I could shoot without a meter and hopefully I'll be there in time!

I have spent some time thinking about the alternatives and whether or not I pick up an M3 and a separate meter until I get to grips with shooting without one.

  • can I come and have a look/take it?

  • Or an m4p perhaps?

    Seems a lot more affordable.

  • Facebook once again showing me there is still some deals to grab. Just paid for a Konica RX-3 film scanner, which seems to be the same as the Sony UY-S 100 model so looking forward to testing this ( needs a scsi to usb adaptor ) and hopefully should be pretty much plug and play, main reason I got it was the price (£55 posted ) and the fact it can scan a full 36 frames in less than 10 minutes. I don't enjoy the scan process when it takes forever, I'm looking at you flatbed scanner !

  • Late to this, but I like Mary Frey's stuff (more Documentary than 'portraiture' though)

  • Bronica SQ-A, HP5 @ 800

    Square format is so good

  • Lovely

    1&2 are gems

  • Ive got an M6 and the 35 F2.5 Voightlander, Its nice but I really wanna get the leica 35 F2 at some point just to be a snob.

The setup i have is fine for most stuff although I shoot more with my T2 than my leica which has probs not shot a picture in at least a year but i cant bare to sell it either.

  • I will say that the M6 is fuckin daft money now, so that would put me off buying one and probs one of the reasons ive not sold it. They do hold there money so won't lose thats the only positive from looking.

  • I like this a lot.

  • Yeah they probably doubled in value over the last 6 years I bought an M6 with a 50mm Summicron for just over £1k back in 2014

  • Cheers! Kinda wish the background wasn't so busy but ah well

  • Take a ladder and shoot from halfway up one of those trees? So you get the him & bubbles against paving?

There is a sick shot there somewhere.

  • Photowalk essential?

Or give him a tenner to do the bubbles in front of a nearby concrete wall for five minutes

  • This was my attempt from a while back (may have already been in here)

  • Surely that would ruin the purity of the street photography ;)

  • Definitely.
Though where I live street photography is forbidden by law anyway, so we're already used to stage things 🙂

  • @amey while on the hunt for setting a digital archive for film I stumbled on this;

    https://pixl-latr.com/

  • Or this - fully automated scans a roll in 2 mins.

  • I think i bought mine like 3 years ago maybe 4 at a pash and it was about £1200 they are not over 2 grand body only.

  • I think its a great combo, but considering my M6 hasn't moved in at least a year I'll no be buying one anytime soon. one day maybe

  • I forgot how rewarding this thing is
