I'm certain I've seen some references to roof tents here.

@bq yea probably did dodge a bullet with that one. I cannot for the life of me remember much about it, I think it also came with another beam and breaks and the panels were from Mexico. Also went to go see this t25 attached last year. Was priced at 5.5k but the guy was willing to see it go for 4k seller was a vw restoration company and it was a PX, someone spent 12k at type 2 detectives then traded it in with him for a razor edge. Showed me the receipts, crazy money.
@Airhead Awesome any pictures or erased from your memory...

There are some things I remember about a night parked outside Pentonville Prison, I could never reveal what I remember though.
It's really odd when you think back. I spent years without any kind of camera. Now I have photographs of everything.
I bought it from a council estate in Croydon. There were kitchen knives hidden everywhere. I barely made it back to Camden. It seemed like it was going to be fun but it was expensive and ultimately frustrating.
In the late 90's I went to Glastonbury in a Swiss Army VW Camper, matt green split screen. I got on board because I'd fitted it with a ply interior for the owner who was a dealer with lots of experience. Hours before we set off for Glastonbury the driver and 2 passengers had to service the whole braking system, replacing the seals and bleeding the brakes on the side of the road outside the owners house. Simple but always something needs doing.

Todays navel gazing is should I buy NGK or denso spark plugs. It is a jap car and the spark plugs in it were NGK. Not iridium tho.
GSF are going to supply.

Sadly E63 is giving me back ache. I’m going to look at moving the pedals left.

Lumbar too high? Bolsters too inflated?
Happy to report the Tesla has the most comfortable seats I've had in a car yet.

The brake pedal in the E63 is where the accelerator is in the 911. Seats are fine, it’s the offset.

I was challenged to a drag race on the A3 slip road this morning by a small Fiat which was fun.

Isn't that the same as loads of brands in general?
Porsche caps / t-shirts etc or Ferrari ones are particularly prevalent; even in people who don't own their products.
BMW is another.
Not disagreeing but I don't think it's a Tesla phenomenon.

I've talked roof tents here before. And in the camper thread. Still want to get one but it needs to be fucking huge as there's 4 of us and one of our kids spins like a propeller when she sleeps

Honestly, in situations like that, you really see their purpose. Even a soft roader would have been fine - just our low slung, fancy Audi WankerBarge couldn't handle the rough road, even with quattro. Ironic that I bag out the SUV trend too.
