  • Schwing. How much you after for the Enve post?

  • My 2.8 r2000 finally got its original fork:

  • That is nice. Great start to the page.

  • Does anyone have or know of a 56cm CAAD5 going?? Ideally just the frame - thought I'd post in here rather than clogging up the classifieds.

  • Finally threw this together which was a massive pain

  • Chains too short and one of the tyres is on backwards but otherwise it’s sick

  • RX4 front calliper routing is nasty isn’t it. Some funky angles if you use the Dale guide... looks like you ditched it?
Take it you’re struggling to find the rear at the moment in flat mount? I’m also having issues tracking down a purple flat mount front :(

I drilled and hacked off parts of the BB ‘sump’ to allow the cable to pass on the outside avoiding the spindle.

Do you need a di2 grommet for the seat tube? I can pop one in the post if you want. Drop me PM.

That mouldable glue putty stuff is good for filling the empty entry points and also holding the rear Di2 cable in place - just ram in down the hole and let it set.

@dglshrn probably £115... it’s got non rounded bolts (thanks Enve who sent me some spares) and doesn’t slip at all like the internets ones do (apparently). Carbon paste and locktite ftw.

  • Thanks, it would be the cherry on top but can't justify it. I know @PhilDAS was after one, can't see what he's got on his 12 at the moment.
I used sugru to fill the unused ports. Worked well and came out reasonably easily. Caad 12 routing is a nightmare. Etap was the best investment...

  • I’ve still got the front cable guide on but yeah the angle the brake demands has just pulled the hose out of the side of it.
I didn’t bother trying to get a flat mount for the rear as I had the Ultegra ones already and after cranks and all the small bits you inevitably forget, the cost was mounting so left it for now.
I’ll get a pair for the next bike. Another reason was that I already had a 140mm rotor I wanted to use to save some more pennies and the hope FM rear is 160mm native without adapters I believe.
Grommets would be great. I’ve got none on the seat tube or chainstay

Seatpost is bog standard dale one. I’ll order a Chinese carbon one without setback at some point and chop it down coz weenie.
Overall build as pictured was 7.4kg without the pedals.
Ti speedplays probably keep it to 7.6kg complete (without the pump)

  • my old frame and wheels back in london !? lovely build !
    what bb adapter ?

  • I believe it is yes!
    Wheels MFG BBRight adapter

  • bb30a you mean :)
where is the save seatpost ?

  • Well yeah the frame is of course but the adapter is for BBRight frames and is called such :) just happens to fit bb30a too
Didn’t come with a post to me. Probably dglshrn moved it into his next frame

  • ah thats funny, i didnt think bbright was a similar offset.
di2 routing was not particularly complicated using a sleeved bb adapter. I built my rim brake caad12 straight after and it was pretty similar.

  • Me either but read it would work and seems to so far.

Only problem with mine only came with 30mm shims. As you can see it should come with 2 and a handful of 24mm ones so mine's installed a bit janky. Might email them to see if they'll send me some better ones

  • Anyone got an inline or at most 5mm offset seatpost in 25.4 that wants to sell? not too heavy is for my race bike....

  • @Dammit has a parts box full of 25.4 inline posts I believe.

  • Any frame ideas for modern-groupset-old-cannondale-frame build? Has to be a Gravel/CXish guise. Ideally to take 700c +-35mm tyres and some fatter 650bs? Looking at replacing my 650b Cdale MTB with something I can ride more often. Everyone around me now has a CX. I'm left out. Help.

  • Just get a topstone or CAADX or summin. You probably won’t find anything “vintage” that will do what you’re after and will do it poorly if it does.

  • This. I thought about adapting something from a previous era before but it just doesn’t work as well as the purpose designed bikes coming out now. Despite what you think of the trend/marketing/blah, these bikes are really good at the job in hand.

  • Is anyone looking for a R3000 caad5 fork? Carbon steerer and aluminium dropouts, manufactured by Time.
Steerer is 19.5 cm, few marks but nothing major. It needs the starnut (I have one but is not straight).
