@dancing james just out of curiosity are the rivets silver or copper? I got a white copper rivet swallow that was told was one of one off a mate (the one top right)

Not that I should have to justify to the internet, but given 500 were made and distributed worldwide, I’m not sure how many will still be in the UK so it’s quite rare. People’s circumstances change, I’d rather not sell it but I am.

Rare or not, limited ed or not ... it's still an 8 year old well used saddle. The price should reflect that. Semantic arguments about inflation are absurd semantic clutching at straws.

go to the Bank of England’s inflation calculator and maybe see how much the value of money changes over 8 years as a starting point. I don’t think it’s worth the same, today’s money is worth less.

I can't even begin with this ... you're basically saying you'll price it the same as when you first posted it 8 years ago "because today's money is worth less than 8 years ago"

come on man get off it. Let me help you, £150 - £200 is an okay place to start for a rare, limited edition but well used saddle. If you want a lot more for it then delete this thread and go flog it on eBay.
