Phantom braking on autopilot is still a thing but definitely not that common. I’ve done maybe 1,000 miles in various Tesla’s with maybe 50% of that on autopilot. Have experienced two phantom brakes.

I was doing 1500+ a week from April to the end of July last year. It's definitely much worse in bright summer sun.

I guess I’ll find out soon enough. Apparently the FSD beta which is working well in the US will trickle down to the autopilot mid next year so that should help eliminate some of them.
