My physio suggested that a seat should measure ~3/4 the length of your hip to knee, and the back should be ~ the same as the distance between the base of your spine and start of your neck.
With your feet flat on the floor, your thighs should be ~parallel to the floor
HSE has guidance for chair & desk heights (their monitor height guidance is outdated though)
That being said, I don't rate herman miller - too much form over function, particularly at the premium they charge.
Back on the topic of office chairs, I'm currently using the below which on the surface looks legit. I got it ferried home via PedalMe from the office back in May. However, I don't necessarily feel super comfortable in it and have a feeling that it's something cutting/reducing circulation at my thigh level.
Is my best bet upgrading for HM Mirra or similar at the £3-400 mark? (I'm 174cm and 72kg)
