Got the A-1 yesterday - washed and dried it's awesome!
NOS and looks durable as fuck. It IS just the right length for my purposes as a driver who is constantly in and out of the van in temps of -30º C and more; I need to have something that doesn't get in the way when I'm opening and closing doors, moving step stools in and out, lifting luggage et cetera.
My only concern is the impermeability of the plastic lining, might get a bit sweaty at times. -

Hey, extreme weather proofing, right? But yes, I had the same concerns when I tried one on.

Cheers, will report back once the sub-zeros hit.

Yarmo stores is also worth a look. The jumpers they sell for £45 are often found for around £100
Genevieve Sweeney also has a few men’s pieces, she’ll add sewn initials for a £5er if that’s your thing.
Not sure any of those meet the quality of more pricey options though:
Andersen Andersen
HeimatAre very nice!

a bit out there but
these shoes look a bit special saw them in a charity shop up the road, didn't ascertain a brand but they look quite bespoke and niche, could be easily out of " the story of o "
could be worth a 10'er could be £500 quid shoes, have no idea, if they're gaultier or prada they could be worth a fortune

On another note Tricoteur has a new (to me) website. -

What's the deal with the shoulders here? Is it to create more volume in the body and sleeves whilst getting a properly positioned shoulder seam?

Winter is here again and I still don't have a warm/waterproof jacket. I picked up an Arcteryx therme parka but decided it's not for me. Before I cave and buy a middle aged dad Rab Valiance jacket does anyone have any better looking recommendations? Preferably black or dark muted colours. I like the outdoors Snowpeak or Pilgrim Surf Supply aesthetic but they don't have anything that fits the bill.

On the right track but I checked it out in person and wasn't digging it. The branding on the arm looks particularly crap.

Didn't notice the logo on the arm. Looks pants.
Yeah thanks, looked at that one too. Not as much as the Dehen, that's for sure...
