Dynamo hubs

SP not serviceable, if its fucked soon after purchase, worth speaking to the seller, AFAIK Ison will just replace is considered warranty

Damn, bought oct 18, been like this for ages but I just ignored it as I wasn't using the dynamo wheelset. I'll speak to Spa cycles and see what they say.

Anyone have a SON Centrelock 15/12mm Hub for sales / low milage? My SP is deed.

Does anyone know if I can bodge a Shimano hub connector onto an SP hub, or do I need to buy a new connector set?

It should just slot on without any modification. My understanding is they're the same design.

I think they’re ever so slightly different - few quid from Sjs or spa if I remember correctly.

Isons repair thing for SP hubs is really good - I think I paid 50 quid for a full repair or replacement, and rebuild. Only challenge was cobbling together a box big enough.

Solid customer service, exceeded expectation overall.

They do work, but one seemed to be slightly bigger than the other so it's a bit tight or loose. Can't remember which one was bigger, SP maybe.

Tell me more. I've a Shutter Precision hub that seems to have developed rough bearings. Had it a few years so it's not in warranty.

See attached for the doc they sent me at the time. Says there’s an extra charge for out of warranty - the contact info they give should give you a quote at least.

What kind of mounting for the rear light are you looking for?

Ideally a fender mount, but would consider others. Something like a supernova or b&m secula would be great, thanks!

I just got mine back from ISON, replaced for free with the newer model. It was done as a warranty but my two years ran out in Oct 2020.

Really good service, very impressed.

Are there any 15x100 to 9x100 adaptors?
