The face recognition of the photos app on both iPhone and Mac keeps merging me into my partners profile. How do I stop that?

Every time I have to select every photo of my face and reassign it to my profile, only to discover it got merged again right after. I don't know how the AI behind it works but we really don't even remotely look alike.

One of you grow a handlebar moustache?

This is the best I can do. I'd be impressed and quite a bit jealous if my partner could grow a proper moustache
