Edit: I’ll rescind this now. Getting a bit of drift with them. Not sure if it’s due to saif portafilter meltdown or construction in general.
On the cheaper end, I’ve a pair of Joe Frex scales that’ve survived a few bottomless portafilter meltdowns. Not advertised as waterproof but I’ve found them resilient. Measure to a tenth of a gram and built in timer.
I’ve seen them somewhere recently for £50+ which is outrageous, mine cost about £20. I think unbranded versions are out there for even less.
Only downside is that the timer stops. When you unweight the scale which is annoying when you stir/swirl a v60

it'll be going on my Christmas list so Acaia are not an option.
