  • The slower it arrives the better chance it has of lasting until Xmas :D

  • I owe @Landslide one of these I think.

  • I do like a bit of geuze but you’re going to need some gaviscon to get through that lot

  • Quite excited to try this Verdant & Deya DIPA from this mornings All Good Beer advent box

  • Haha. Worth it.

  • I got this yesterday, Boxing Day sorted.

Still no Tempest or Buxton in my lbs but I'm told at least the Buxton will be coming in soon.

  • Regarding Belgium, my mate manages a large retailer logistics/stock shit and said last night

"UK ports are at 100% capacity because companies are stock piling goods ahead of a no deal. All our December and jan stock is headed to Belgium to be unloaded. Shipping companies think it’ll be 3 to 4 weeks before the backlog is gone."

  • Felixstowe is currently at 150% (?!) capacity according to our supply chain. Ships that were booked to arrive from Australia ahead of January are now being rerouted & will arrive mid-Jan. Importing anything is going to be very dicey indeed for the next couple of months

  • Ouch.

Yay Brexit! Remind me again of the benefits?

  • Ooh, where from?

  • The Epicurean is my LBS. I think I got lucky tbh.

  • I enjoyed that one. Boozy aftertaste but a nice one, not something many 8% IPAs nail

  • Any suggestions for growlers? Was thinking of getting my kid brother one for Christmas, but don't know what's best: steel/glass/insulated etc.

  • If you find cool steel ones, I'm looking for one too. Don't want glass because cycling.

  • Yay Brexit! Remind me again of the
    benefits?

£350 million a week for the NHS.

    Oh wait.

Umm... Apparently faster vaccine approval is the latest wheeze.

  • The pressurised ones with co2 canister inputs are great for storing hoppy beers, but haven’t bought one because if I’ve got 4 pints of pub fresh IPA it’s getting dispatched that night. Might blow the budget though

  • Delicious cinder toffee stout from NBB has had a pokey overhaul and is even better. Got one of Omnipollo’s less mental beers to try later

  • Currently going down a treat:

  • Still getting the “5 weeks mate” email response and order still at “Payment accepted”

  • Counter with "is that 5 weeks from order as I ordered 3 weeks ago and can you confirm this will be received pre Christmas."

I sent that on Sunday and beer in my house today.

  • Delicious

  • Voicemail from LBS to say Buxton's have landed. I won't count them until I have them but should be getting hold of a Petrosian & a Bourbon Rain Shadow

  • A warning for anyone with one of these, they are quite explosive upon opening. Do it over the sink. Far too bloody easy to drink for 9%
