I'm normally fairly hard-line as these things go. However, fellow brethren of the pie, Sunday was Advent Sunday, the start of the mincer season (traditional rite); we're now all 100% justified in our mincery.
(I went for Morrisons ISB deep-fill pies: not quite as good as in previous years - the filling could be more generous and could do with a splash of booze - but decent enough, maybe 7.5/10)
