We have an early 90s Dawes (same vintage as 6pt's) and long bullhorns are the business.
I got the seller or that BJ tandem to send over the geo to check fit. The front end looks ideal for me. Stoker setup is bit off though. Seat tube is good, 500mm, but the reach, even with a 30mm 35º stem is way too short for my wife. The reach (centre top of saddle to centre of bars) on her Brompton is 660mm. The longest I could get it on the tandem would be 530mm. The Brompton isn't exactly an aggressive positon so I'm concerned she'll be pretty compressed, and have a poor view of my back.
From what I've read, the stoker position is often compromised with shorter reach, but this seems too much. Thoughts?
