Hi all
On the topic of this threads namesake the Arkose...any recommendations for a simple rear rack that’ll fit easily? It’s a gift to someone who wants something simple to fit.
Cheers!

Any rack really, a smaller model might struggle if rack seat stay mount is lower

I winterised my gravel bike by putting mudguards on and riding it on an NCN with some cocoa and lots of layers.
Highly recommend for the non masochists out there.

"monkii cage"? + what thermos is that? Would've loved a hot drink option on many an overnight audax

Free parable monkii yeah. The cage itself can be removed from the bike so you can buy one cage and two of the mounting bosses to switch between two different bikes. I quite like it. Not as easy to use on the move as the baller fidlock options though. Have used it with an oversize klean lantern (the large rotund one) and it was ok though I think maybe out of spec.
Flaksk is Stanley GO. It's stainless insulated but had a ceramic coating on the inside which imo is a bit better than raw stainless for drinking from.. Universally apathetic sticker from inner decay.

I've just had a Gravel bath, after my Gravel ride.
Serves me right for getting suspiciously cheap Himalayan pink bath salts.
