I will actually be in the market for a affordable but usable monitor in the not too distant future, I'm just using a cheap work one at the moment & it's not great!

It's daft that there aren't more of these available at a less silly price. Really suits the sort of setup that Velocio has where you're using external sources for everything. I don't use the tuner or speakers in my TV, and between chromecast, virgin box and PS4 have plenty of other options for streaming video.

tbh the contrast of the sky made me miss it in the heat of the game but I still would have tried to run as i have a long and storied history of dying one tick before I get the phoenix off so i never trust it.

On monitor chat - I like the look (particularly the stand) of the Eve spectrum and got suckered in by forum scientologist chrisbmx on the pyramid scheme for a deposit. Am assuming it won't ever appear, so what's another visually pleasing 4k monitor with similar functionality (don't think i care about hdmi 2.1 - not even sure what it is so suspect I don't need it). Budget around 1k? Just want it to look nice and plain and not like a Transformer.

Pretty sure that's VESA 100. Back looks almost identical to the LG 34GK950G which went on my monitor arm no problem.
