haaland gets another 4 then they bring on
The Cameroon-born German youth international, who has scored 141 goals in 88 youth matches for the club, came on with five minutes remaining.
Aged 16 and a day
as a late sub, not short of a few goals are dortmund

and stevie g killing it up in scotland 10 fewer goals conceded than the next best defense, clean sheets coming out of his ears
people were gagging for a few clean sheets earlier in the season
frankie lamps and gerrard both know how to do itspeaking of frankie lamps was nice to see plucky little chelsea top the table albeit briefly yesterday, it's amazing what a good manager and a £220mn quid spend can do for a team

Dont support either of the Old Firm but seeing Lennon mess up the easiest 10 in a row would be delightful.

well we squeaked past leicester even without any loan players from other premiership teams, keita injured though, he always looks lively in his 2 match spells before injury puts him back on the physios table, wish he could stay fit for a decent spell, ah well fabihno and thiago coming back to fill the gaps, not a bad pair to add to ones squad
first half we played really well, was coo-ing at some of our moves, flowing football direct and quick up to the strikers, jota is exceeding all expectations, leicester got back into it in the 2nd half but just couldn't find vardy in the final third often enough
ynwa
and a new club record 64 games at home unbeaten

7 goal goal difference from being top .... damn you villa
-
• #154808
Obviously Leicester went easy on us because of our injury problems.

That was only five of the difference, though. You'll have to damn whichever club stuck two past you to make it seven.

Brendan must still have a soft spot for Liverpool, Liecester seem ideally equipped to soak up some pressure and get in behind liverpool's fullbacks with a blistering counter, but they never do it. Thought thery were a bit naieve (sp?) yesterday.

makes you wonder what all the crying was all about Dicki.
Having seen utd at the weekend i can see why they are calling for 5 subs and possibly 10 if they could get it. but they are one of the few teams outside of the big 6 asking for it. -

wait till the whole prem are playing sat-wed-sat and players are dropping like flies. there will be a change of heart then...
hopefully its for the players well being rather than short sighted small club mentality -

J Wilson is talking about this a LOT.

Good to see Burnley trying to suck the enjoyment out of this free flowing Premier League season by having the least number of goals in their games. That's the kind of thing I want to watch.

Just like in the Championship?
A bit more game management is needed and maybe the intense press has to slacken off? Or go all out for a lead and try to protect it? If there is a bit more tiredness on the pitch there's more openness and action at the end making for more exciting games. Lots of ways it can shake out but enabling the richest clubs with the deepest squads to use even more of them in a game isn't the way forward.
Another attempt to ringfence the top of the league. -

I see the Big Sam signal may be getting ready at Pride Park.
I hope he's got the same directional sense as me and goes to the old BBG instead. -

Pretty sure with McClaren confirmed as "Technical Director" that means we will go for someone with less experience, or someone that hasn't worked in EnglandThe Championship previously.

I missed that ....breaking news....Steve McLaren..... breaking news.....
That'll mean we get in someone to run the coaching/training (Rooney?) With the TD acting as a shield from the media right?

Schteve and Rooney calling the shots; what can go wrong?
-
• #154820
Remind me, because I've not actually looked at a premier league table for ages (because, why would I right? Derby are right at the bottom of the league below), but how is the mighty tactical genius Slaven Bilic working out for you?

• #154821
O. I. C. Doing slightly better than Sheffield United.

• #154822
(but you're right, what could go wrong with those two in charge?)

Isn't Rosenoir going to be coaching aswell???

Isn't Rosenoir going to be coaching aswell???
The interview I heard on the radio the other day says that Rosenior is way ahead of Rooney in his 'badges' and so he's kind of necessary to keep compliant with the various regs.

So could be big name Rooney to please the incoming shake and Roseinor doing the leg work.
One for @jonny
