Yeah this was a test run. Apparently they had big performance problems (they were as flexy as hell) so they never made it into proper production.

Shame, would buy these, would not buy the others.

Coming from a long sleeve Gabba I've been using with various base layers for spring, autumn and winter riding for 5 years.

Then just the long sleeve, because the zips are not well thought through- in my experience

Out of interest have you tried the latest one with zips just about the elbow, or earlier versions with zips up on the shoulders?

Why would anyone ever pay retail for an Adidas shoe.

I’ve got two, they are my go to autumn/winter/spring “jersey”. Zips on the shoulders are fine if you want to strip down mid ride, just do the zip the first few cm and then undo the rest by peeling the arm down from the top of the shoulder. Downside is that the arms are impossible to reattach while riding and almost impossible to reattach with the jersey on...

90% of the time I just keep the arms on and in future I’ll probably just get long sleeve. I do like the SS for spring intervals though.
