For steel frameset, is it better to keep all the screws in even unused (e.g. triple fork mounts, attachment for derailleur housing when singlespeed, bottle cage mounts) to stop water and mud from entering the frame, or leave the holes open so frame can dry out easier inside?
I've seen these mentioned/used on here before. Seem like a neat way of plugging the holes, though I appreciate it's not an answer to your actual question.
