yeah we had a mixed experience w/lusso - sink and bath taps have all been fine but the shower hose has lost its finish at the point where you seat it in the little holder. they were good about replacing the hose, no questions asked but expect the replacement hose will have the same issue once we get round to installing it

I envy your central door... and cheers for the Lusso Stone tip. Will prob be going for Arte Forme taps and whatever suite EC1 bathrooms have as they are awesome.
@6pt oh yeah, need to pop that in! Dont think I can afford underfloor heating here, we have it in our extension and its a dream but we are going to do this on a shoe string budget.

The Arte Form stuff is top notch. Who knew a sink trap could look so good?

Why 2 basins?

His and hers sinks. We've got the space, why not!

Is this plan set in stone? Because I have an overwhelming desire to shuffle some bits of it around.

Would be hard to change but would welcome some input if you want

Just flicked back and clocked where the skylight/roof slope is. Suddenly your plan makes a bit more sense and my suggestion less, but will doodle it out if I get a min.

The Yard bathroom is similar to what I think we'll do to our bathroom once we've chopped it in half to make an en-suite (layout not colour/design.)

'Dreadnoughts', as my father calls them. He's had to deal with them since he got married.

That one was done by Eckford Chong who did @chrisbmx116 place and will be doing mine. They didn't do it that long ago which is a bit weird

There is a limitation on the toilet as that is an external wall - to take the waste out from the opposite side would require going through the joists.

need a poo knife

This is ok if the beast is visible. Sometimes a flexible sprung steel rod coated in pvc is needed.

They should get a macerator

• #39018
Oh nice, looks like another good execution, like Chris’s. Am quite up for them to do our roof extension. What’s their timescale like?

Not if you can't even get it through down out of the bowl!
Maybe a sieve or fishing net, something that 'Dr' Gillian McKeith would approve of.

This is why you should have a European style bowl with the landing pad so you can fish it out before anything to big causes problems

I can't for the life of me seem to get anyone willing to hang our front door.
I've tried a forum recommendation, Which? Trusted Traders, a local firm based on our road and I've only had replies from one, who later went quiet.
Why is it so hard?
Also, we have a Banham lock in the new (used) front door we bought. They will change the lock cylinder for us, but I'm not sure how to do this - do they need to be on site at the same time as it's being hung? Do they come before it's hung and change the lock cylinder and then the joiner fits it? Or come after and we don't use that lock until it's changed? Or could any of those solutions work?

Because they design and build I think they’re booked out about 12months

I do.
Have a look on the council's website, as they may have a document on what stuff you can do without planning permission. I have found that my council do (not in London)

I thought as much. Be good to see what they do at yours

I assumed that Walthamstow was so popular as it was relatively "cheap". Just looking at this and I was obviously wrong.
Been in Bath just over a month now and this week had a hand delivered letter from the council noting our front hedge isn’t neat enough. He was quite apologetic, it’s not that bad.
Have a good look through the local planning website at what has and hasn’t been allowed. Helped us understand what we could realistically expect to do and make a decision with that in mind.
