I think something like this would look great. You don’t want it too thick for such a slim watch.

I think that’s some limited/special edition (aren’t they all;-) ). The standard is £4260 on a bracelet.

Also not sure if we've had these. Non-chrono versions of previously released Hamilton's. Look great IMO. Again, should be 38mm, not 40mm, but like them a lot regardless.

It's not a limited/special, it's just a sapphire sandwich.

Oh yeah, you’re right. I got confused when I tried one in Ernest Jones few weeks back, the woman said there’s one “special edition” coming in soon for £5000. She didn’t know what she was talking about.
Agree about the size of the Hamilton, great looking watch and would be perfect at 38mm.

The Voutilainen (2nd pic) actually shows 10:19.
Such a cool way of displaying time.

I’m not sure I understand what you mean.

Spendier one seems to have an open caseback.

They’ve actually got the pictures the wrong way round there.
Picture on the first one is hesalite (acrylic) crystal, second one is sapphire. Sapphire one also has a sapphire caseback, hence they do a bit more to the movement in terms of presentation, which also bumps the price up.
You can tell the difference in pics because the sapphire crystal has a white “halo” around the edge that the acrylic crystal does not.

Che?

Correct. And anyone with a brain knows the only way to buy a Speedmaster Professional is with hesalite.

I just looked at the prices of the standard pre super case rolex subs and mother fucker, they all jumped up in price!
I remember being annoyed that you'd have to pay the price of a new rolex rrp... Fuck that now

• #49367
Oh wtf.
The watch on hodinkee has the numbers on the dial which are not visible in the picture I posted above. Fuck that’s confusing

• #49368
Weird right! It actually seems totally natural once your brain adjusts to every hour effectively being it’s own mid-day.

Watchgecko do a surprisingly decent Milanese mesh bracelet for about £30.
-
• #49370
Yeah, I'd seen those. Also seen various vollmer Milanese bracelets online for decent prices. I'm not sure whether mesh would be right or not for the antea though ....

What about a bonklip-style bracelet? Bit leftfield perhaps but looks good on this Nomos

I kind of like that! On a Nomos theme they also have a bracelet in 18mm. Herd to find decent pics of it though
