The Belgian press are reporting that NTT have secured a new sponsor and will continue.

Justin from Legion.LA who also have Rapha SRAM sponsorship posted something a bit cryptic on his Instagram stories about reasons why they drop sponsors.
They are going Pro Continental next year too.

I saw that but he referenced not using certain equipment anymore and companies not being willing to spend money - maybe a supplier wasn't willing to increase expenditure with them moving up the ranks? He's posted since, wearing Rapha kit with SRAM advertised on it

Chris Lawless has joined them from Ineos, confirmed by both teams today. He had a two year deal at Ineos, with another year to run. It is unusual to see riders move when they still have a contract for another year.
Are Ineos freeing up space or budget for someone else, or has Lawless realised his ambitions won’t be met at Ineos, who don’t ever really support sprinters.

Anyone remember Niki Terpstra?
-
• #29710
Always at his best as a foil to a stronger rider, like Boonen.
-
• #29711
Yeah, I'm not sure a partnership with EBH will quite be the same. Much as I like Edvald.
-
• #29712
I’m in the same camp.

Multiple monument winner Niki Terpstra?
-
• #29714
Surely not the same man who rides for TDE?
-
• #29715
And both times he won monuments it was because he wasn’t perceived to be the main threat from his team.
Leferve’s team are masters at this tactic, and Terpstra was very effective in that role, but he’s not even come close to winning a monument since he left Quick Step.

im not sure what point you're making...
that tde isn't as good a team as quickstep?
that niki terpstra isn't as good at 36 as he was at 30?
-
• #29717
My point is that he has fallen off a cliff in terms of results. There are a multitude of reasons but still...
He's not a very nice bloke.

I've heard this claim before that he's not a nice guy - any particular reason why ?

Losing ~20 watts in that baggy skinsuit.

Checking Sagan's pressures. Such a great pic.
Terpstra expects everyone to do exactly what he says, shouts at people for the smallest mistake and refuses to acknowledge his own. The other riders hate it when he rides a 6day/commercial madison, acts like God but forgets that he is a roadie in a trackie's arena.
tl;dr: He's no Iljo Keisse. -

Latest Social Distance Podcast with George Bennet and Sam Bewley talks a bit about him, most know him a bit as the above, but they also recognise that it's him on the bike. They also mention an incident where Rowe and Terpstra threw punches in a ditch in the Dauphine
Generally QS are regarded as nobs though, the way Evenpoel speaks and Lefevre is, that's not due to change anytime soon

ah so you just wanted a bit of a gossip ;)

Both he and Dygert follow people that are either explicitly QAnon nutjobs or, like the above, that I bet are QAnon crazies. Social media training claims from teams don't work if your riders continue with the shitty likes, retweets etc.
