You'll need to find a custom framing place would be my guess. We've had a couple of custom framing things done locally (fabric artwork). Fair warning, it's expensive to get it done well.

Anyone on 'ere have a Kestrel 4000 or 200sci?

Thanks for the offer, but I think I've found a solution bodging an Ikea kitchen rail and Ikea hooks which look like they might just work together.
-
• #105507
Thanks for that. I had a good look, but Ikea do a 56cm rail with a threaded insert in their kitchen range for £3 and some Ikea hooks which might just work.

+moocher or +edmundro possibly based on what I seen here: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/178272/?offset=1500#comment15632529

Do you have parts numbers to save me searching the IKEA website? Looks ideal for my tie rack.

Are you combining the piece on the end with the hooks?
Because otherwise you'll be 90º wrong. : )
The Fintorps affixed to the threaded end with a big washer or something would look a little tidier, though if the hook portion is too small any S-type hook would work. -

Why not just some 'E-bike ready' Marathon Plus in 20×1.75(47-406)?
They are pretty easy to find in the UK.

It's for a trailer...

Marathon then?
-
• #105517
1.75” is too narrow..
Also, the load ratings of e bike ready tyres aren’t anything to write home about- they may not get punctures as easily but they are at risk of failing at the bead if you over load them.

I know, just sayin'
@coventry_eagle Marathons are obviously right solid too but I have no problem with the Pluses, I sold a pair to a manic friend who couldn't kill them over a few years of Winnipeg 365 commuting. -

Ah.

No, I'll be removing the end pieces on the rail and replacing them with the hooks, to hopefully get close to the Muji wardrobe rail, that's only available in Japan! And yes, it will probably include a big washer to hopefully make it work.

Is there anything I can do to make a shimano rs30 rear wheel compatible with an 11 speed cassette?
-
• #105524
Use an 11-34 cassette assuming it'll work with everything else you have, otherwise you're looking at getting the freehub or cassette machined, which probably isn't worth it for those wheels.
-
• #105525
as above! not worth paying for milling cassette unless you have a deep affection for the wheels
Anyone able or know someone who could build a custom picture frame thing? It's for a signed piece of glass so needs to be multi layers with an inbuilt LED or something to help make it visible.
