  • Max's

Love Max's, good vibe in there too

  • Do you need them immediately? There is often a post Xmas sale...

  • Thanks! Great feedback :-)

  • Ah! Good shout :-)

  • OK @Fox, gabba was ideal for yesterday’s on and off rain. Still a bit warm for 12 or 13 degrees but I do really like not worrying about the jacket / no jacket dilemma.

  • I had a bloody mary so I was quite wankered tbh

  • Also the Rapha thermal jersey was perfect for me yesterday with no base layer. I put a gilet one when stopped, but jersey alone was perfect otherwise. The knee warmers helped.

  • Anyone know if the bar bag is coming back?

  • It's still on the site with a 'notify me when in stock' link so one would assume so.

  • Why am I tempted by the Rapha + B&O headphones? When I know there's better options!

  • Anyone got anything going spare?

    Ideally Brevet in a large.

Anything considered but hoping for long sleeve jersey/gilet/jackets

    Cheers all!

  • I was thinking the same! Still leaning towards the pixel buds mind you.

  • I have 2 pairs of their old 3/4 thermal women's bib shorts kicking around somewhere, pretty sure they're a size S. I don't know why I got 2 pairs, I've barely used them. Can't remember if I was using an SMP saddle back then but will dig them out and inspect whether they're fit for a new owner if you're interested?

  • Bright Pink Brevet LS jersey? It is a medium, but compared to everything else rapha I've had it is definitely more of a large.

  • Will Pm ya - cheers bud

  • I gave in and ordered. I'll let you know how they are.

  • I reckon..... expensive.

  • Probably. But, I'm in lockdown, working from home and riding every day on the trainer. If it helps keep me sane it's worth it. Just hope they sound as good as my Sennheisers.

  • Not to get all life-coach but ... could you get equivalent feels by continuing to use your Sennheisers and making a donation to a good cause?

  • This is the Rapha thread... BUYBUYBUY

Alas, the Sennheiser's are over ear and I sweat like a very sweaty person on the trainer. They'd be destroyed pretty quickly. But, I appreciate where you're coming from. Good causes don't miss out either.

  • Starts getting really expensive when you find them in the washing machine...
No-one is going to notice your fashionable pink accents on the headphones on the trainer, and sound quality isn't all that noticeable when you're doing intervals, you just need volume to drown out the sound of the fans, pain and tears.
I have a pair of Aeropex for the trainer and wearing on the bike. Very salty sweater, so the fact that you can just rinse them under the tap is super.

  • What.

before you order the Sennheiser HE 1, we want to make you aware of the progress of the purchase process. As the purchase of the Sennheiser HE 1 is an extraordinary event in your life, it is also an extraordinary event for us. Thus, each Sennheiser HE 1 is built and commissioned specifically for each customer and requires a maximum of individual processes. Our production manufactures the individual noble product parts only after previous receipt of payment of the so-called deposit. Since each Sennheiser HE 1 is as individual as its future owner, we will discuss all further steps with you after receipt of the initial payment and personally accompany you until you receive the device and also far beyond.

  • counter-point, this being the internet and all, I've killed a number of in-ear earphones on the turbo due to sweat. Granted they were all really cheap rather than £300 B&O but at least 2 pairs were sold as waterproof sports ones. I've since been using some over-ear headphones which have survived a couple of years. They were also really cheap, the sound quality is terrible and they're starting to fall apart but the sweat hasn't gotten in to them.
