Core cargo's material is nowhere near as good as the full-whack ones IMO, & the chamois doesn't feel as good. The back of my core ones is going transparent after only like a year, while the other ones are still going strong.

My bad. Cheddar, mayonnaise & cornichon sandwiches are great FWIW.

Thanks for letting me know. Anyone know if the Mens Cargo Bib Shorts are any better? Fucking pricey though...

Can confirm, this makes an outstanding lunch.
Ham, brie, strawberry jam, 2 eggs, seeded batch bread and way too much butter. -

Highly recommended. Miss the pockets when I’m wearing other bibs & they’re very comfortable.
Now back to Sandwiches

Wow. Might have to have a long lunchtime ride over there.

Gabba is for very wet and cold days when you're going to get soaked through anyway. If you're finding it sweaty you're using it in the wrong weather IMO.

No Black Friday deals for Rapha this year...
We've been give a free day to take off before Christmas so I think I'll do a long ride on Black Friday to add to the challenge. With decent weather should get 160k in...

I have the core cargos and am happy with them. I couldn't really justify the extra cost to get the 'proper' ones. Have had them for a while and they haven't gone see-through like others report. I guess YMMV...

Thanks. Yeah, the price of the expensive ones are hard to swallow. But the ones i get now will be used for a 2000k race and I would like a pad that can handle a couple of days of intensive riding. But yeah so expensive...
I guess if the core ones with out pockets are better than the ones with I should go for those even though i find any pair pants without pockets provocative...
As the general conversation revolves around sandwiches at the moment. I guess mentioning other brands that might offer the product I’m looking for would be considered at least as on topic.

The higher end cargo are better than the core as they are also have DWR or whatever the slight waterproof thing is called. I rode TCR in them and rate them. The pockets are very handy particularly around stops, hotel check ins etc.

Did that two weeks ago. Went out in 13 degrees with a chance of rain, was sweaty. It actually did rain properly second half of the ride, I froze and almost died. Might sell it.
opinions on 3/4 crepes?
