We're the main service workshop in Oslo for these. They're pretty solid, stainless steel frame with cable steering and a shortish wheelbase that makes them pretty lively. They come with 27*2.8 and 20*2.4 tyres so the rides pretty cushy too. There's room for two kids in the box. They're still a pretty small operation and produce in batches in Columbia, most of the bikes sell out before delivery so they're not something you can just pick up in a shop but this should be fixed by spring 2021 with a proper electric version promised later next year I think. The last batch came with deore group.

I think I read somewhere that you were no longer allowed to top up cyclescheme vouchers. (I've topped up on 2 bike purchases in the past...)
I'll try and find out. -

Can I still add funds (or 'top up')?
No. To improve clarity on this topic and ensure there is no shared ownership, the DfT confirmed in the guidance update that adding funds is no longer allowable. If you wish to get a bike worth more than £1,000 your employer must agree to increase their limit.https://www.cyclescheme.co.uk/cycle-to-work-scheme-any-price
I can see this being an issue with some employers as they may think that £1000 is already far too much to spend on a bicycle...

and ensure there is no shared ownership,
It was my understanding that this has always been the official stance and that ‘topping up’ was between you and the shop no?
Pretty sure the shop I worked in used to do this and would just put a £1k bike through the system but sell you whatever you wanted.

yea sorry. covid times has got me forum digging
-

Yup my understanding too, the % the schemes can take is almost all or in some cases all you will ever make on a sub k bike. Topping up gets around that

What's the forum approved solution for fitting a baby seat on a cargo bike?
I have a Cybex Cloud Z i-size baby seat. Baby is coming later this month!I currently have an AluLock case which is held by 8 bolts only so relatively straightforward to remove.
Is there some of Isofix solution?

Easiest one to make I’ll bet.

Anyone heard of this?
Possible cheaper option to full on dedicated bike.

Been aware of this for a bit, but obviously haven't seen one yet. Given how much of a nightmare longtail conversions can be, I'm skeptical.

• #5368
Yeah, haven't seen real world reviews yet, would be nice...

Update! Getting closer to paint! Just need to weld some minor things and drill some holes for the cables.

Shame about the colour
Good thing they changed it in 2021.
Don't take corners at speed in the wet.
Just sayin
