It’s really interesting that the watchmaker basically depleted all his parts to repair it.
The situation isn’t clear, but I imagine that the supply of parts is something that has changed dramatically over the years. Does Rolex even make parts available these days? I guess that the watchmaker amassed the parts from donor pieces and perhaps some previous authorised dealer/repair businesses selling off NOS part job lots.
