Recently turned 42, never owned my own home before, there have been 4 flats I've been in the process of buying in my life that have all fallen through due to some fuckery or other completely out of my control.
For some reason the banks in Finland actually wanted to lend me money despite me only having lived consistently here for just over a year at the time of offering, and owning a start up business with highly variable income.
Corona put the search on hold for a while, no one was really putting anything on the market, but late in the summer stuff started to appear again and after a bit of fannying around I found somewhere. I really like the traditional wooden houses, but apparently they can be total money traps, but then I found a 'modern' 1990s build wooden house, built by the previous owner themselves, that hadn't been getting much attention as it's only 2 bedrooms, which didn't suit the typical detached house market of families.

Less than a month later, it's mine!
