Trump is prosecuted from multiple directions but probably escapes jail time

I think this is behind his implied 'refusal' to leave, if it comes to that - he will try to cut a deal to leave quietly if they don't prosecute him.

Possibly I guess - depends how close it is. With a Biden landslide and no recourse to the courts, he's not going to have much of a hand to negotiate.
And even so - that would only be a federal deal I assume. Plenty of state and civil actions waiting for him - tax fraud, pussy-grabbing etc.

Until now (and I'm talking about prior to his presidency also) his legal teams have been pretty good at kicking these cans down the road for years, even decades. If they succeed again, even for a few years, he'll probably be dead anyway.
