Just a straight split down the middle and giving her half. She wants to live mortgage free and why wouldn't she? So I have to mortgage half the house and give it to her. I can only get a 14 year mortgage so that's going to be tight. I'll have to sell my Raleigh 20 and Dawes Kingpin collections and become a freelance sperm donor, if I get the vasectomy reversed.

divorce is ugly.
Sorry dude

• #15105
That it is but it could be new bike time soon!
Without the associated "How many's that now?" -
• #15106
Are we allowed to ask how many in an interested and slightly jealous way?
-
• #15107
It's not the size of the collection. It's how you use it.

Apparently the sculpture is made from reinforced polystyrene.
Impressed that it held up

Dense polystyrene is an absolute motherfucker! I made huge sculptures using 3m marine styrene blocks recently. Increasingly heavy and tough. It’s the stuff they use for floatation in big yachts and trawlers. Very different to the stuff your Sony Bravia comes packed in.

One big caveat...it breaks down in UV light really quickly.

Does it? Presumably the heroic whale had a styrene core and a resin case of some kind.
Our job only had to last a day.

• #15115
Excellent, glad I asked. :)
-
• #15116
Well, when I say really quickly I mean quickly compared to other thermoplastics so pretty slowly. Or not at all if the whale was painted :D

Low twenties, nothing special or expensive at present.

and no crowd to see it
shame" The patrons may be absent but the players still attempt the tradition of skimming their ball across the pond on to the 16th green at Augusta National as they prepare for the Masters, which starts on Thursday. "

It's a tradition in the practice rounds of the Masters to try it.
Vijay Singh did it in 2009 I think and a few have done it more recently than that.
Here's the Vijay video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLzX62nXPTo
(so many people to watch the practice rounds...)Can't wait for someone to try it in the actual tournament though (although the tournament pin placement will make a lot harder I'm sure).
Me leaving the financial mediator's office today when she felt that my 300K offer to my wife, who was also present, was more than reasonable.
