Jumping in on this as I'm on the hunt for a winter fork for the Dart. It's finding something around 375 a-c is proving tricky. Similar to @bibimbap I might be able to squeeze a 35c on the back but realistically a 32c would be safer. Most CX forks i'm seeing are closer to 400 a-c which is far taller than I'd want/need.
yes, height is tricky if you are so inclined to keep it minimal. larger road forks like older genesis equilibrium disc forks could take 35mm tyres. if you wanted to go disc.
i just checked for reference, my kinesis cx canti forks clear 38mm tyres but yes : a-c is just over 40cm.
