    May try and resurrect it, what’s the worst that could happen, other than food poisoning...

  • If it comes back, you could take an explicit backup: spread a thin layer on baking paper, dry on a radiator, flake off and break into a sandwich bag, seal & freeze. Reconstitute w/ water & whole rye flour or whatever you usually feed with. My off-site backups are in Kent and New Zealand—the latter had a test restore which went well.
