Not on the outer diameter of the seat tube?
Not being flippant, genuinely asking.

Tester means the seat tube of their frame. :)

I've got some white MFC with scratches on it that I'd like to try and get rid of. (It's gloss white, the pictures just make it look a bit darker.)
What's the best way to do this? Main methods appear to be touch up pens or wax, any suggestions which is better? They're on the side of a wardrobe so won't be subject to any use, it's just for the look.

Roger that, I reckoned that’s what they meant, but with Tester’s level of knowledge I wondered if they meant the actual thickness of a seat tube might require a different clamp thickness. Like, would a very thick/thin seat tube require a very thick/thin clamp. AFAIK, in most cases a clamp’s a clamp.

I put Campagnolo Chorus 10 spd breaks on my Thorn brevet, wich was a bad idea as the brake pads touch the tires. I've seen pad extensions somewhere on here but can't find it (neither on SJS). Does anyone know where? I understand that this solution will impact breaking negatively.
Ta!

Not on the outer diameter of the seat tube?
Seat tube OD is seat post OD plus twice the seat tube wall thickness🙂

Now print is dead, what should I stuff in my soaking cycling shoes to dry them? Redundant office shirt catalogues aren't absorbent enough.

Hi - anyone recognise this frame? Early/mid 90s, wishbone stays, no identifying marks otherwise but quite a distinctive configuration on the tube joins.

Giant Cadex, possibly a 980

Thanks - I thought that too, but the headtube looks different

You could ask Juliana Furtado, whose signature is on the saddle. Perhaps it's one of her former competition bikes?

I think the old lugged carbon Specialized Allez looked like that though
-
• #105246
the headtube looks different
But everything else is wrong for a Specialized Allez Epic, which is the other obvious bonded-lug crabon option from that time

Alan had a similar frame
As did TVT and Vitus (and rebrands of their frames), but I think the wishbone seat stays are specifically a Giant Cadex thing. The three-piece head tube is confusing, but everything else says Cadex.

I’ve never seen a giant cadex with internal cables. There’s a guy that works near me that has a Centurian with a wishbone seatstay and the same head tube lugs, could be one of those

Centurian
Wrong spelling, but otherwise a good catch, I think we have a winner

Depends on the wall thickness of the seat tube
