Anyone want to purchase a pair of R8070 used but minty calipers?

CL rotors for "nice bike"
Absolute black or nah?

Shimano is the only option for rotors

They do have a UK distributor...

I just used BH90 on BH59 caliper, it works fine

Which one?

Hope (pun intended) so. I bought some very-slightly-used RX4s for buttons recently.

Purple can’t clash with purple right? 😎
RX4s are grand. No proprietary tools needed @umop3pisdn - that’s a standard SRAM syringe. Pretty easy to come by and most with a mountain bike will have one...
Something to note; when fitting them initially there are additional steps that aren’t mentioned in the videos IIRC. The step of forcing each sides pistons out individually. It’s in the paper instructions. Follow this and you’ll be absolutely fine - these were the first brakes I’d ever bled. They are fantastic stoppers.

Aye but I’ve got a yellow one of those 😂

Are there appreciable performance gaps between Red, Force, Rival mechanical shift hydro levers?
Building up 1x SRAM mechanical groupset and there's a big price difference, which I assumed was just weight/materials like Shimano but new to SRAM so is there something I'm missing?

SRAM make a bit of a fuss about them being functionally (or non functionallly AMIRITE?) the same across the range.

There's a difference between AXS HRD and mechanical HRD, but all the mechanical ones are basically identical as far as I know.

Struggling to bleed a rear TRP Hylex. Seems like I have to undo the caliper bleed nipple nearly all the way out, and apply a fair amount of pressure from the syringe, to get anything to move.
Is this likely to be the bleed nipple clogged up with gunk? How do I do about cleaning it out?

What's wrong with yellow and purple?!

I’m happy for you, but not on my bike :)

Did you not follow my MT400 issue, it was identical .. I had a mini oil explosion and something stuck was removed with black oil in funnel.
Try a different/smaller syringe, that worked for me.

yellow and purple?!

Perfect, thanks. I'll take a look backwards. Assume the smaller syringe allowed for higher pressures? Did you bleed it lever to caliper to push it out rather than into the system?

Lol, I never considered that!

Yep
Did you bleed it lever to caliper to push it out rather than into the system?
With shimano; I pushed from lever to caliper into the funnel. I think the 3rd party (like Epic bleed? Or aliexpress ones) bleed kits have syrenges that work on the funnel end of caliper so you bleed it like sram, I think its a better approach. Slightly more complicated.

Awesome cheers, I've ordered the Ratio kit but haven't decided which hydraulic shifters to settle for, Rival are about £150 w/o calipers but the jump up to Force and Red seem mad (and as available as hen's teeth)

Hi another hydro calliper question.
My buddy wants to use tiagra hydro shifters on an old cdf.
Of course it’s post mount. I was going to suggest hope RX4, but they don’t list tiagra as compatible. What other post mount calipers go with tiagra hydro levers? M7000?
Silver.
