Why wouldnt you just use a normal rear rack then? your frame has the eyelets, it will be way more secure than those seatpost ones, look at how shit they are when fitted on deliveroo bikes

Coz they're not on trend are they?
Nah, coz pizza = pizza rack. I didn't really think about adding a full rack to this.
I'll just order calzone...

https://www.dutchbikebits.com/luggage-racks-and-accessories what about one of these HT or DT mounted racks
-

This thing that mounts to the downtube? Ugly, expensive, bulletproof. I had one for a while.

ha, snap!

Calzones go in panniers. Any fool knows this.

What about something that fits to the qr and the bars?
-
• #1034
I no longer own panniers.

Could you put an expander bung in the steerer at the fork crown, then bodge some way to fix the rack onto that instead of drilling crown? Combined with lower mounting points that fit into the qr / axle.

How much pizza are you... never mind

I made a front rack. Just needed to post a picture of it somewhere.

Surly fork and a pizza rack.

Looks nice but I worry that the handlebar mounts won't work with my riser bars. The bends will be where the bar mounts are.
-
• #1041
Ah, I didn't notice the key detail - the downtube mounting bit. So you can swing the bars around and the stack of pizzas don't move, leaving my toppings intact. You're right about the cost though - that's like 1/3rd of what I paid for the whole bike :S

I’ve seen front platform racks that Strathclyde to the head tube. Pretty sure one had a ball joint or something so you can get the angle just right. Couldn’t find anyThing to back up my claim though.
Edit: attach. Not Strathclyde

Does anyone use a pelago commuter rack? any feedback?

It's heavy but nice. Sturdy. Comes with a little wingding for attaching Dyno light effortlessly. The rails are a bit high for front panniers apparently.

Been using one for a while, it gets used a lot, I have a wald basket zip tied to it. I hop down kerbs, load it up too heavy and it never misses a beat. It's even gone through a few crashes and it's barely even out of alignment.
Would really recommend.

@Belagerent @oheyitsdrew cheers :) seen some pics of them with front panniers but the rails do look a bit high

Like this: https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/500-seat-post-pannier-rack/_/R-p-170873
But with a wider top platform? Which is now not a front rack. Abort abort!
