We could start a ‘what happens next’ thread with a photo like that.
But seriously folks, autumn would be lovely if we actually had an autumn. For lots of years recently the summer ends with a few colder nights so the trees get the message then a bloody great storm comes along. Result; bare trees and what should be bright colours is lying in dark mushy layers on the soggy earth ready to test our nerve at the bottom of the next hill.

People who say “autumn is my favourite season”. Why, you twats? It means summer has gone and it’ll soon be winter. It’s already pitch dark at 5pm, ffs. We have six months of this shit now.
