My layering dilemma is;
I used to really like the PTJ, I once got soaked in it and extremely cold, with baselayer and brevet jersey underneath and after this it lost some of its shine.
I now favour, Baselayer, brevet ls, insulated gilet and carry Shakedry in case of rain. More a warm stuff to keep warm and a proper waterproof to stay dry and as a result warm.
When it’s really cold though the brevet jersey lacks a bit for me.
Is there a warmer jersey than the brevet?
Shadow seems like a possible addition but how would it be with a Shakedry over the top??

You're going to boil. Unless it's relentlessly pissing down for hours on end a baselayer plus a softshell (my go-to attire for wet Danish winters) is all you need.
