I've just had my front door (and garage doors) repainted. It's only now I realise that the casual passer-by will assume I've colour-coded the front door to match the top of the recycling bin. Oh well.

And yes, the porch needs a good clean. It's On The List.

It did - it's a bit past its prime now. In fact, I'm about to replace it all (with more lavender). You can't see it in the photos but the bottom 12" is very woody. The bees love it (which is why I'm sticking with lavender) and the postman hates it (because he's scared of bees).
