Is someone upstairs in yours whilst this is all happening? I feel for a couple living in a tiny flat above my next door neighbour.
There was a reasonably recent story going round where the owners of a ground floor flat decided to dig their basement out only to send the entire building down when they fucked the foundations up. Flat above was occupied and they had to evacuate.
Flats: let me count the ways they can fuck you up.
